The first principle behind all effort in fertility

How to have a peaceful journey to pregnancy, without putting the rest of life on hold…

In the last post, I talked about the main problem that delays people on this journey: spending time and energy on treating symptoms while missing the actual root cause.

Now I’d like to talk about what you CAN do.

To illustrate, I’ll take you for a moment to Yellowstone National Park. In the 1930s.

The park was becoming sick. 

There were alarming drops in the population of ravens, eagles, bears, magpies, beavers, coyotes and fish. And willow trees along the rivers became badly stunted by the deer who were grazing along the river banks.

After years of failing to fix it in various ways, ecologists and conservationists took a surprising step:

They reintroduced wolves.

They reasoned since wolves were wiped out around the time the Park became “sick”, then maybe restoring this bit of ecology would fix it.

The wolves started hunting elk and deer again. The elk and deer started moving around more and spread out their grazing. They ate less willow leaves down by the river banks and the willows flourished.

Now the beavers returned as they had more food to survive the harsh winters. As the beaver population grew, they created dams and evened out the water flow and supply. The fish populations grew, as did the animals preying on them.

And as the wolves hunted more elk, the scavenger populations like ravens and coyotes grew too.

As it turned out, there had been an imbalance in the parks eco-system. Instead of trying to fix the symptoms – like introducing more beavers – they had to restore the balance by fixing the root cause. The missing wolves.

And this is how your fertility health works too.

When there is perfect balance in your overall health, your internal ecosystem, you will be naturally fertile.

And when there is a delay in getting or staying pregnant, it indicates an imbalance in your general and fertility health.

My simple equation for this is…

Excellent Health = Excellent Fertility

And this is what I’ve taught my clients around the world over the last 25+ years – to optimise their fertility and create their healthy babies. 

So it’s all about your health balance, which prepares you for conception and pregnancy. Whether you’re trying naturally or with IVF.

Focusing on this saves you time and energy. As well as improving your health, so it’s a win-win situation.
