Time-saving lessons of a 1500 year-old fertility science
I once found myself so desperate, I had to check into the local Accident and Emergency ward. Three times.
I had been struggling to function properly. Over a period of about 18 months, I was gripped in what I can only describe as a constant panic attack.
This was over 25 years ago, before I started my fertility clinic. I had been pushing my mind and body to its youthful limits with an extreme lifestyle. Overwork, sleepless nights, poor diet, and more.
Something snapped, and I was paying the price.
But no-one seemed to know how to deal with it.
“Chronic anxiety” was the best label they could offer me, and sent me off with a prescription for a tranquilliser.
This terrified me even more. And although I desperately wanted to change things I knew it would not fix the real issue. So I just tried to manage some of the symptoms, and life became even harder to navigate.
Until one day, by chance, I came across a different approach.
Sometimes we keep using the wrong tool, simply because it’s the one we know best.
This was a new tool for me. I grew up with it around me while living in Hong Kong, but never really looked into it.
In the previous post, I talked about the right sequence to plan for excellent health, and as a result: having excellent fertility.
The first step is to find out What is going on and Why. Because no amount of treatment will help unless you know this first.
Medical science happens to be a powerful tool for finding the What.
Blood tests, saliva tests, hormone tests. Finding physical symptoms of what’s going on is quite easy.
But as you’ve seen in a previous post, knowing your symptoms are only half of the story.
You also need to find out Why.
Find the underlying imbalance causing the symptoms – the real root cause.
And it turns out “finding Why” has been the driving focus of another medical science, which has been developing for over 4500 years. This is Classical Chinese Medicine – but not TCM (“Traditional” Chinese Medicine – as this is less than 100 years old).
According to Classical Chinese Medicine, excellent health means there is a balance in how the body and mind are functioning.
And when you’re unhealthy, it seeks to first understand where the imbalance is. Remember the story of the wolves in Yellowstone Park?
This is the tool I found that day. It helped me get to the root of my crisis and set me on the path to recovery. 6 months later, my life was completely back to normal.
And I dedicated my life to studying and using it ever since.
You can find many Chinese Medicine practitioners in larger cities, who use TCM for general health issues. But find a true specialist in Classical fertility if you can.
For the past 1500 years, Classical Chinese Medicine has been refining the study of fertility, building an enormous body of knowledge largely unknown in the West.
It’s perfect for finding — and treating — root issues in conception and pregnancy, saving you from chasing the wrong symptoms.
So now you know, this is a potent piece of the puzzle for your journey to healthy pregnancy.
And it’s how I’ve helped all of my clients achieve their pregnancies – with most of them being 40+ years old with “everything against them” according to Western medicine.
Interesting 😉
And in the next post, I’ll share another such piece with you:
Diet do’s and don’ts for a simpler fertility plan
Have a great day!
